How to Care for Your
JEWELLERY
Ambeca jewellery is made to be worn and loved. To keep each piece looking its best, treat it with care and store it properly when not in use.
Our pieces are crafted with plated finishes over brass or copper alloy, and may include cubic zirconia, enamel-effect colour, mother-of-pearl effect details and other decorative finishes.
Brass & Copper Alloy
Many Ambeca pieces are crafted with brass or copper alloy, chosen for its strength and ability to hold detailed designs beautifully.
Avoid contact with water, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, lotions, salt water, chlorine and cleaning products.
After wearing, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, dry cloth.
Plated Finishes
Our gold-plated and rose gold-plated styles are made with 18K gold layered over brass, with selected pieces finished with plating of at least 2.5 microns.
To preserve the finish, avoid moisture, chemicals, rubbing and scratching.
Silver-tone pieces should also be kept dry and stored away from humidity.
Stones & Decorative Details
For cubic zirconia, enamel-effect colour, mother-of-pearl effect, black inlay and other decorative details, clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not soak, scrub or use chemical cleaners, as this may affect the plating, stone setting or surface finish.
How to Store Your Pieces
Store each piece separately in its original pouch, jewellery box or a soft-lined case.
Keep jewellery away from humidity, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Put jewellery on last after skincare, perfume and makeup, and take it off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
